| Description of the problem | I was driving at approximately 30 mph when my vehicle's automatic emergency braking system engaged. There was no apparent obstruction which would have caused the aeb system to engage. I've owned the vehicle for exactly 1 week and this has happened twice. Both times, the system engaged for approx 2-3 seconds and then my car returned to normal driving. While it did not bring me to a full stop, it did slow me down and created fear, distraction and a major safety issue all while actively driving with my toddler in the vehicle. |
