| Description of the problem | In october 2018, i was driving my nissan rogue with the cruise control (propilot) activated. Suddenly and unexpectedly, with no vehicle in front of me, my vehicle applied the brakes for a brief period - maybe one second - not long enough to make it skid. I took my vehicle to the local nissan dealer, and they applied software update ntb18-041a. To reprogram the radar sensor. On march 9, 2019, the same problem happened again - i was driving at about 55 mph on interstate 81, with no vehicle in front of me, and my vehicle applied the brakes suddenly and unexpectedly. This is unacceptable - if another vehiicle been close behind me, it could have been rear-ended our vehicle. |
