| Description of the problem | While driving at a constant speed on a straight road with clear weather and no other cars around, the automatic emergency braking (aeb) system activated and abruptly brought the car to a complete stop. This has happened 3 times since we leased the car in october 2018. The first time was with 300 miles on the odometer. Two different dealerships have not been able to fix the problem so now we are forced to disable the aeb system every time we drive the car. It is definitely not what we want to do but we have to. |
