| Description of the problem | While driving my 2017 nissan rogue this week, for no apparent reason, the brake assist feature engaged. I was driving between 30-40 mph, nothing in my path, when suddenly the brakes engaged, causing what sounded like a grinding sound and my vehicle nearly coming to a stop with rush hour traffic behind me. This has happened twice since i've owned the car, with the previous time being approximately a month or two ago. I will be taking my vehicle in to my local nissan dealership to inspect, and hopefully this is taken seriously, and promptly corrected, as this could potentially cause a serious accident. |
