Description of the problem	I was travelling in teaneck, nj, going east on churchill road , approaching tthe intersection of windsor road. I attempted to slow my vehicle, in order to make a right turn. I stepped on the brake pedal, but the car did not slow down or stop. As a result, i went through the intersection, hit the curb, and went off the road, finally coming to a stop in a grassy area.
