| Description of the problem | While driving at approximately 10 mph on a city street just starting to move forward from being stopped at a stop light, the rear window suddenly shattered. The mileage was slightly over 19,000 miles. The car is 23 months in to a 36 month lease. Nothing out of the ordinary was happening that day, clear skies and 50 degrees. Nissan claims since it isn't a "manufacturers recall" item it is not covered under full warranty. Since it is a lease, i must use nissan class which is almost 3 times as expensive as glass from a third party. To top it off, i have driving in a rental car from the dealership for the last 7 days at $35 per day. Nissan finally called me back (7 days later). |
