Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owned a 2016 nissan rogue. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at approximately 35 mph, she attempted to stop the vehicle by depressing the brakes however, the vehicle failed to stop as she rear ended another vehicle. The contact stated that the frontal air bags failed to deploy. The driver suffered a chest contusion and whiplash while the driver side rear passenger injured his knee as well as hitting his head on the rear of the driver side seat. The other driver had a sprained back. All parties sought medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was totaled by the insurance company as the front end was severely damaged. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and a case was opened. They said they would be back in contact in a few days.
