Description of the problem	After about 60k miles, i noticed my 2016 nissan rogue started to become sluggish. It was unable to accelerate quickly. I had to rev it up to at least 4 or 5 rpm to get it to even take off. There was a delay in response to me pushing the gas pedal. The engine started to shudder and shake more than before. I felt like i had to floor it to even go 30. This was very scary when pulling in front of traffic that was already going 60 on the highway. I was unable to accelerate quickly enough to keep up with the flow of traffic. At 70k, it experienced several episodes of complete failure. I'll describe one of my experiences as best as possible. After driving the rogue for about an hour in stop and go rush hour traffic, i decided to stop at starbucks to calm my nerves. I waited in the drive through for about 15 minutes. When pulling out onto the highway, my vehicle would not go above 15mph. I was flooring it, trying to get out of the way of traffic, but the vehicle simply would not accelerate. I pulled into the center lane, and turned my car completely off. I set for about 5 minutes. Then i started the engine back up. It ran fine after that. However, this is a problem that continues to occur. I was fortunate to have a place to pull over, but what if i'm not so lucky next time? What would happen if i tried to cross a busy street and my vehicle just stopped? I don't feel safe driving this vehicle, especially with my kids inside! I took it to the dealership several times. They found nothing wrong and no recalls, but did do a transmission software update. That did not help. This problem needs to be fixed before someone gets seriously injured!!!!
