Description of the problem	Our 2015 nissan rogue had to have an intake manifold assembly basically the top of the engine due to the intake manifold assembly is made of plastic!!! Who in their right mind would put plastic parts on the top of an engine??? Also, the blind spot detection camera which is placed in the front of the car by the nissan symbol where it can be hit by a rock or a bug as i was told. Why would this camera not be protected from this being damaged so easily. The intake manifold assembly cost $1,071. 48 to repair. It was going to cost $1,200. 00 to repair the blind spot detection camera. We knew there was an issue with the engine due to the check engine light came on. I have invoices to show the cost of the replacement of the intake manifold assembly. We did not elect to have the blind spot detection camera fixed since it is in a non-protected area.
