| Description of the problem | I was driving on a highway doing 60-70 mph at night and a deer jumped out of nowhere straight in front of the car hitting the hood which opened up protecting the windshield and me inside. The air bag deployed (only on my side, not passenger's) leaving 2nd degree burns on my right hand (as estimated by a doctor at the hospital). I was given an ointment and bandage. The car itself is totaled with the front completely bent (see attachments). My issue is whether the air bag is supposed to be that hot as to burn. I can understand it'd be warm especially after driving for a while but hot to the extreme? I'm not sure if i have a strong case as to sue the manufacturer for the burns but is there anything else i can do to be compensated for this bodily injury as well as pain & suffering? Thanks! |
