| Description of the problem | Vehicle has a recall for the fuel pump. Vehicle has been idling rough for over 18 months. I contacted 3 nissan dealers about the recall. Dealer 1: i don't have any confidence in their service dept that they would do the repairs that they say they would do. Dealer 2: didn't think they would be able to get a new fuel pump. They suggested turning off the air conditioner to "fix" the rough idling. Dealer 3: said it would take 2 to 6 weeks (the end of october) to get a fuel pump. In the recall notice from nissan they said the fueld pump would be available in august 2016. The vehicle still has a rough idle and it idles very erratically at times. It doesn't make any difference if the air conditioner is on or off. I need help getting nissan to replace the fuel pump on my vehicle. |
