Description of the problem	2014 nissan rogue, 88000 miles, regular maintenance completed. Driving on the highway when the engine light came on and the vehicle abruptly stopped accelerating as the pedal was pushed. Could maintain 20 mph, but anything after that required lots of time. The rpms were at 3k or above just trying to maintain 40 mph. Independent mechanic will now be replacing another cvt over 3k cost. Happened with my 2015 nissan sentra at 78000 miles. Please do not purchase a nissan cvt. It is a safety hazard.
