| Description of the problem | Whenever the front-seat passenger buckles his or her seat belt even a few seconds after we start our rogue, put it in gear, and start driving, the "passenger airbag off" light illuminates and the passenger airbag remains off indefinitely. We are able to fix the problem only by stopping the car, shutting it off, and making sure that the passenger buckles his or her seat belt before the engine is re-started. This is clearly a dangerous problem. We spoke to our nissan dealer's service department about this, and they told us that they are aware that this kind of thing happens, but they have no fix for it. |
