Description of the problem	We were on i-77 heading to florida when we noticed that the front passenger air bag light was on, indicating that the air bag was not functioning. It stayed on for a couple of hours until we stopped to eat. When we started the car again and the light was off. Then approximately and hour later the light came on again and stayed on for roughly 30 minutes and went off again. It did not come on again, but we took the car to daytona nissan and reported our problem. The service manager there had them check it out and then told us that they found nothing wrong with the system. He told us that my wife did not weigh enough to trip the sensor. Her weight usually varies between 116 and 122 pounds. Based on his statement, she could never ride in the front seat! The light has not come on again that we have noticed. This is not something that you always check when riding in the car.
