Description of the problem	The transmission "stalled" stopped operating as i was at 55 mph, at the end of a steep uphill onramp merging onto hwy 395 from hwy 70 in eastern california. No warning lights on dash showed. Almost got ran over by a large truck. I managed to coast to the side of the hwy. After resting there for 20 minutes or so, the transmission worked partially and i limped it into reno with the flashers on. The nissan mechanic in reno told me "they do that when they get too hot." this is dangerous.
