| Description of the problem | My car will lose acceleration during a drive lasting more than about 90min at greater than about 65mi/hr, sooner if it's hotter outside. It first happened to me traveling from tennesse to florida then back. It slowly started to decelerate and the rpms climb if you're not careful. I had to pull over a few times to let the car cool down in order to continue. What should have been an 8hr drive turned into a 10hr drive. That was in june. Not we're in july where temps have been 95⁰-100⁰ the last few days and i'm pulled over again while traveling, this time i only made it about 1hr. I'm hoping no damage has occurred and i can get moving soon. My 4hr round trip will be much longer today. I wish i'd known this about the cvt before purchasing this vehicle. |
