Description of the problem	The vehicle at 76k miles started to experience slipping while driving and the check engine light came on. The car additionally struggled to obtain speed when starting from idle, stopped at red lights, stop signs, etc. And would jolt forwarded. The car sent back a p0700 code for transmission issues with additional codes for shifting errors. After taking it to two mechanics and being 2 years outside of the models with extended 10 year warranties and 1 year outside of the 5 year warranty i have to pay 4500. 00 for a new transmission out of pocket. The cvt problems after 2010 models are clearly not fix and the vehicle is unsafe to drive with myself or my family. The fact there is not an extended warranty on newer models or a recall on the transmissions in unacceptable. This very easily could have ended in an accident or injury.
