Description of the problem	On 12/26/2015 at 4am my 2012 nissan rogue caught on fire in my carport. My daughter and i could have died had it not been for my 2 golden retrievers alerting us. I later found out that i wasn't notified of a open recall on 1/26/2015 including my vin for the electrical system, in which it could short and cause a vehicle fire. The vehicle was deemed totaled by my insurance company and over $10,000 worth of damage sustained to my home. Nissan began their investigation on 1/20/2016 and on 2/12/2016 they contacted me via fedex that the have no financial responsibility for this incident. I am totally baffled by this because vehicle fire is consequence of the electrical problem on my vin. And yes i have insurance on both my home and vehicle, but there is $500 deductible on my home. And there is a balance after my insurance paid off what the vehicle is worth at the time of the fire. And i had to put money down money to buy a new vehicle. So i'm left with all of the financial responsibilty and nissan has none. I am livid!!!
