| Description of the problem | The airbag light was flashing so we took it to the dealer. The passenger air bag stays off even with a person in the seat. They stated it is the occupancy sensor and wanted over $2,000 to fix it. I had the nissan extend warranty which they said it was not covered. I called nissan and they said my 2012 rogue was not part of any of the years for the occupancy sensor that were recalled. If there is a recall for the same reason, why would this not be covered? Why if the sensor fails it would default to keep airbags from working?. Nissan customer service told me it was pass the 3 years /36000 so they would not repair it. |
