| Description of the problem | After traveling an hour or so on the interstate at posted speed limits the vehicle looses acceleration slowly till it will not go anymore. Have had to pull off at an exit once & the shoulder twice now. No loss in power to the vehicle. It just wont go. Sat for 30 minutes with the hood up to allow it to cool. Was able to drive the other 30 minutes of the trip. Seems to be a known issue for this vehicle. It looks like they took care of the older rogues, but not the 2011 with the same cvt transmission. The vehicle has worked fine for the 150k miles it has on it. Just a very unsafe issue this vehicle is having. No confidence on my daughter traveling in it back & forth to college anymore with it acting this way. Hopefully nissan will step up & correct this issue. |
