| Model | ROGUE |
| Model Year | 2011 |
| File date | 13/04/17 |
| Component | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL |
| Product type code | VEHICLE |
| Description of the problem | The car stalls, won't accelerate, and ramps rpm when slowing down. The transmission was replaced by nissan with an extended warranty at 52k miles, and now needs replacing again. The dealer states the transmission has overheated 91 times on this vehicle and also needs a transcooler added. I notice 141 complaints on this site for the same problem, but no investigation. The '08, '09, '10 models have all had their warranties extended. This is a serious safety hazard on a highway when vehicle will not accelerate. Someone is going to be hit from behind, as the driver has no way to keep a steady acceleration, or slow the rpm unless the car is turned off and restarted. Nissan should replace all transmissions in the rogue. |
