Description of the problem	When brakes was applied in order to stop the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated momentarily and brakes had to be depressed all the way down to the floor at which point the vehicle eased into a stop in a very untimely and unsafe manner. Sometimes when attempting to stop the vehicle, the brakes have to be applied all the way to the floor, the vehicle responds very slowly as if the brakes had not been applied. Other times the vehicle stops abruptly as if the brakes had been applied aggressively. While stopped upward for about a minute at a slightly inclined hill and behind another vehicle in order to obey a red traffic light, the vehicle propelled forward as if the brakes was not currently applied. The brakes had to be re-applied all the way to the floor to stop the vehicle. I took the vehicle to curry nissan dealer where i purchased the vehicle to report the problem and set an appointment for them to diagnose the problem. Also, i informed the attendant at the dealer that there are a few complaints filed online that were addressing the same problem that i experienced with the brakes of the nissan rogue 2011.
