Description of the problem	While driving this vehicle on highway and secondary roads i noticed a loss of power and slippage of the transmission. I took to a local shop several times but wasn't able to diagnose. I finally took to a nissan dealer ( mcguire nissan of syracuse ) and they diagnosed as a bad transmission. They give me an estimate to install new transmission and oil cooler for transmission for $5,300. 00 plus tax. I then did some research on the nissan and found out that nissan had alot of issues with their transmissions , so many that they extended the warranty from 5 year - 60,000 miles to 10 year - 120,000 miles on most of their vehicles. I contacted nissan directly and they said this doesn't pertain to my 2011 as it only covered the 2003 thru 2010. My vehicle only has 74,000 miles. During my research i read that a lot of these transmissions were only good for 80,000 miles and that is why they extended the warranty. Ultimately i was compelled to get this fixed from mcguire of syracuse and with tax cost me $5,791. 54. I believe that my car should have been included in this recall as the issues are the same as the other years that had issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
