Description of the problem	Car started making slight whirring noise when accelerating. Took it in to be looked at and they couldn't find an issue. Went another week and the noise got worse and starting skipping and losing power when i tried to accelerate after it's been sitting for a few hours, mostly just in first gear. Almost got in an accident pulling into traffic and lost complete power for a few seconds, was lucky enough to get into a turn lane before i got hit by oncoming traffic. Took it to another mechanic and determined it was transmission and needs to be replaced. They're telling me my car could turn into a giant paperweight at any moment.
