Description of the problem	2011 nissan rougue cvt failed at 88,000 miles when my son was driving from wichita to dallas. On the highway outside of dallas, at 70 mph, the rpms shot up and the car lost power without any warning. Limped to an off ramp and local service station. The cvt had failed. It was replaced by a local shop and nissan says that 2011 models are not covered by the extended 120k mile warranty.
