Description of the problem	I was on a trip to san diego (via the 5 fwy) on saturday and when i am about 1 1/2 hour into my trip and started to go up an incline the car refused to accelerate (the pedal was all the way to the floor. This was quite scary since there were numerous cars and trucks behind me. I slowly made my way over to the shoulder in order to turn the car off and restart. When i restarted the car i was only able to accelerate to 20 mph to get off the freeway. I even tried putting the car into low gear and turning od on and off but the car did not respond at all. I then puller over for about 1/2 hour then restarted the car. Now it was responding to acceleration but the response wad intermittently. The car wasn't driving normal at all. Then i finally made it to my destination where the car then set for several hours. When i left to return home the car returned to its normal behavior response.
