| Description of the problem | The transmission started clicking mid-march 2014. I took it into the dealer and was told the transmission needed replacement. The vehicle is a 2011 with 85,000 miles - it should not need a new transmission and is currently out of warranty. The cost of replacement is $3,000. The previous model years 2003-2010 warranty's were increased to 10 years 120,000 miles due to issues with the transmission. It appears to me that the issue was not fixed and warranty's again should be extended for owners of model year 2011 and beyond. Nissan should stand by their vehicles and repair and replace when issues arise. |
