Description of the problem	2011 nissan rouge: the passenger air bag light that indicates the passenger airbag is not active illuminates with an adult seating in the passenger seat. The red airbag warning light on the dashboard cluster flashes. The dealer where i purchased the car states that the airbag will not deploy in a crash. The dealer wants to charge me thousands of dollars to repair this because the car is out of warranty. A web search will fined many many nissan cars with this problem. People have been hurt and killed due to nissan cars failure to deploy the airbag. The car is unsellable and unsafe. The govermment should reguire nissan to fix this problem without cost to the car owner before more people are hurt and killed.
