| Description of the problem | Passenger air bag light has come on and stayed on--without anyone or thing in the passenger seat. Dealer says that must mean the passenger airbag is deactivated. Contacted nissan--they say it will cost $2100 to fix. They want us to pay $700 of that--since the car is 5 years old. It has 83,000 miles on it. Since airbags are a federally mandated safety feature, i would think that nissan should pay all of the cost of this fix. |
