| Description of the problem | With daughter driving in mountains. After appx. 2 hours of driving the car would no longer accelerate beyond 40mph on 65 mph highway. Even slower on hills, no power. A lot of semis and cars honking but no place to pull over. Felt we could be rammed from behind at any moment. Terrifying. Subsequent check online revealed this is serious problem with this vehicle and there have been lots of complaints. Why has nothing been done? If ever a recall was needed this is it. Worse than an airbag not deploying in an accident. This has potential to be the cause of many accidents. Most vehicles on i-70 exceed the 65mph speed limit and a car going less than the min required speed is at great risk. Do something!! More info on this problem is all over the internet. Just google nissan rogue acceleration problem. |
