Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 nissan rogue. While driving 65 mph, the vehicle decelerated to 25 mph with the accelerator pedal engaged. There was no warning indicator illuminated during or after the failure. The contact was able to coast the vehicle onto the road shoulder. The contact drove the vehicle home. The contact stated that the failure was experienced several times. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 160,000. dt 9/5 and 9/26 trip to kentucky and michigan 65-70 to 20-25 pulled off quickly coasted looking for exit after about ten minutes power started coming back. Made it home. Did not happen again until 9/26 called mechanic said he was standing looking at a 2019 that the guy said is doing the exact same thing. Made a whirring noise and lost power, he said it was a 5-6k transmission fix and he would get my car in this coming monday to hook it up.
