| Description of the problem | When slowing to a stop after a long (2 hours) period of driving at highway speeds, the car could not then accelerate after a stop. The rpms would rev to between 2-3,000 but the car would not accelerate for a few seconds. In intersections, this was dangerous because it could cause an accident. The car only has 500 miles on it. An initial trip to the dealership said that there were no codes and no problem. On the return trip, after an extended highway drive, the same problem occurred. The car is unsafe to drive in its current condition and is going back to the dealership tomorrow. |
