Description of the problem	Air bag failure - the airbag sensor in the passenger seat failed which caused the entire airbag system to not work (as noted by the flashing airbag light on the dash as well as the secondary airbag light constantly on near the gear shifter). This is a safety issue and concern. This particular year of the nissan rogue was not part of a recall (2008 and 2010 were included in a recall for the exact same issue). As a result, in order for the airbag system to work and to remain safe in the car when driving, it requires a new passenger seat cushion. This repair costs greater than $2000 (part and labor).
