Description of the problem	The cvt transmission oil overheats at long driving periods and the transmission / car goes into limp mode and the speed drops immediately and significantly and will not be driveable until the oil cools down. Very dangerous because this only happens on the highways at high speeds. Also, after the vehicle enters this "limp mode", if you exit the highway and stop at a traffic light or stop sign, the vehicle will then not accelerate past 5 mph for a period of 30-45 seconds. Nissan knows that this happens and extended the warranty on the transmission. But they will do no work on the warranty because the issue cannot be duplicated by the dealer when the car is brought in, which will always be the case because the issue happens on the highway after being driven for a while. This sudden deceleration almost got me killed by a semi that was behind me when my car went into this limp mode without warning.
