Description of the problem	After driving 2009 nissan rogue at highway speeds for twenty or more miles, the vehicle begins making high pitched whine on acceleration, and the smell of burning transmission fluid is present. Upon completing a stop after traveling at highway speed, the vehicle fails to accelerate upon depressing the accelerator. The vehicle fails to move for approximately five seconds, then it proceeds to move very slowly. The vehicle engine does not rev, the rpm gauge remains at idle, even with the accelerator fully depressed, the vehicle will not move. In situations requiring quick bursts of speed, such as entering a multi-lane highway from a side street, this has placed the vehicle in the position of blocking the highway while fast moving vehicles are approaching. The vehicle has been taken to a nissan dealership as well as a transmission specialty repair shop and have been told nothing is wrong with the vehicle.
