Description of the problem	Passenger airbag light came on after my 8 year old was seating in the front seat while car was parked. Scan code b1018 occupant sensor malfunctioned. Called nissan which noted that its a known issue with the 2008 rogue models and still has a recall campaign for that year but my 2009 model is not included. But ironically the same exact issue exist with both model and fixing the issue will cost me $1000. There numerous complaints on the same issue for nissan rogue models 2008 - 2010 but nissan is taking no action especially with a major airbag safety issue like so.
