Description of the problem	2008 nissan rogue: back rear window behind the driver's side exploded sending glass all over the car and on the driveway. The car had been driven about 15 prior to the incident. I reported the incident to the nissan dealer where i purchased the vehicle. He would not even talk to me. He said it was not under their warranty and that it belonged to me and the bank now. I turned it in to my comprehension insurance and had the window replaced. The glass hit the seat so hard that it embedded about 2 inches deep into the seat. The seat cover had to be replaced as well. Also, the paint on the door was scratched from the glass coming down the side of the car. I had to get the vehicle fixed myself (with insurance) at a cost of over $1900. Nissan said that all of their cars were checked thoroughly so there is no way that there could be a defect even though this is a new model for nissan and i am sure they do not have all the facts on this model as yet.
