Description of the problem	I was traveling home from work and was on an incline trying to accelerate when the cvt transmission failed. The car started rolling backwards and i was just able to stop it before i was hit and caused a multi car pile up due to this failure. Luckily i wasn't traveling at a high rate of speed when this happened so no major incident occurred, this time, but it could happen.
