Description of the problemWe noticed a problem with the gas gauge a few months ago and last week the service engine light came on. I called our mechanic and he had said there was a notice that came up about the fuel sending unit not reading correctly on another year rogue. I asked if we can bring it in and he said he would check to see if there is a recall on this problem. I looked on this site after reading several nissan forums and found that this is a persistent problem with rogues. This should be a recall item if so many rogues have this problem with the fuel sending unit and so many mechanics know about it. Especially the 2008. This problem starts as soon as you start up the car. Before it would start working correctly but now the low fuel light comes on and it stays at e or slightly above all the time.
