Description of the problem	The gas gauge drops to empty and the low fuel light will come on when the car is started almost all of the time. And the fuel gauge will show half full after being filled or even while driving. It may also show empty at anytime. It may or may not return to the true level in the tank at some point. You simply do not know how much fuel is in the tank without using the trip odometer to track your mileage between fill ups. The gauge is operationally useless. Additionally, the "service engine soon" light comes on and stays on with this making the state inspection a problem and requiring a regular check to make sure something else hasn't gone wrong. Monitor code displayed is po463-fuel level sensor a circuit high input. Nissan really needs to issue a recall and replace the fuel sensor at no charge to the consumer or diagnose and fix whatever the problem may be. This is an ongoing dangerous situation for many nissan rouge owners based on what i have seen in complaints on this same problem posted to the internet car forums and my own experience.
