Description of the problem	I noticed air bag light flashing in dash panel about a month ago. Had the car serviced at firestone, suggested i take it to a dealer. I also noticed the passenger seat air bag sensor says "pass airbag not on" even when i have a passenger. I did a computer search to see what the problem could be (possibly minor, take it to autozone). Unfortunately, there are quite a few rogue owners that had the same issue, and also saw a recall (08v521000). When i phoned nissan north america, they said my rogue was not in the recall because it was manufactured "elsewhere". I took it to the dealer, who gave me an estimate of $1,800 to repair!!!!!!! Are you kidding me??? I believe it may have been manufactured "elsewhere", but the defective part was made at the same place, and should be covered under the recall. I have owned this vehicle since i got it from the dealer at the beginning of 2009. No accidents. I'm the owner and driver."
