| Description of the problem | While driving on a main highway, the right side rail cover fell off during the impact from driving over a pot hole. It was determined by my own repair facility that it was missing the only screw which holds the rail cover, along with 5-6 prongs. This screw belongs on a metal piece located behind the tail light. The lost rail cover was replaced along with the screw. If screw was there, part would of hung on. If rail cover had the screw, on high speed, it would of bent the metal part inside and most likely broken the tail light. The rail cover part that fell could have caused damage to other vehicles, hurt drivers and passengers or pedestrians. |
