| Description of the problem | Minutes after filling my nissan quest's fuel tank, i drove onto the freeway i then observed my gas gauge drop to empty and the " low fuel " light come on as well as the check engine light. When i reached my destination and turned the vehicle off and back on again to show my brother the problem everything was normal again. A few days later i was driving home on the freeway and ran out of gas having to call the state police. There was no indication that i was low on fuel. I visited a mechanic and he told me the complexity of the fuel system and the different sensors and advised me to report this problem. On may 20th i again filled up the tank and the fuel indicator light came on as well as the check engine. |
