Description of the problem	I was driving from pekin to work in peoria and noticed that i had a little less than 1/4 tank of fuel so i figured i would be able to get gas on the way home. When i checked the trip gage it said that i had 8 miles to go before i ran out of gas. That is a huge difference than what my gas gauge said. I stopped and got gas immediately and while doing so i noticed that it took 17 gallons of gas. If it had actually had a 1/4 tank in it there is no way that i should be able to put 17 gallons of gas in an 18 gallon tank. I have called my nissan dealership about it and was told there was no recollection of this being an issue. This isn't the first time it has happened but i cannot remember the first time it happened. Since this has been happening i have been keeping track of my mileage and filling up according to my mileage records. I hope this can get fixed soon i am a mother and the last thing i would want to happen is to get stranded on the side of the road with my baby in the car because of an error that wasn't my fault.
