| Description of the problem | While driving the vehicle at approximately 35mph the engine suddenly stopped running and the vehicle drifted to a stop. All attempts t restart the vehicle failed. The gas gauge indicated that the fuel tank had approximately 1/3 of a tank of gas remaining. I spent just a few minute searching the internet for people having similar problems with the same make and model (2007 nissan quest). The search uncovered lots of complaints about faulty gas gauges indicating improper fuel levels. So i poured a few gallons of gas into the fuel system and the vehicle started. I have since had the vehicle quit running 2 more times under similar circumstances. Each time more fuel is added and the vehicle starts with no trouble. |
