Description of the problem	Yesterday my wife was driving my 7 yr old daughter to school. While traveling on a 8 lane interstate at approx 65mph the van started hesitating and slowing down and then she lost all power to the engine and luckily was able to make it to the shoulder of the interstate. We paid to have it towed to our mechanic. This morning we spoke with our mechanic and he told us the van had run out of gas even though our gas gauge showed we had 1/4 of a tank of gas in the vehicle and our "miles to empty" showed approx 60 mile left until empty.
