| Description of the problem | Had to replace complete transmission. Lack of power and no reverse. Based on research a huge percentage of nissan quest, nissan maxima and nissan altima from 2005 have this issue, and no recalls was issued nor nissan dealer accountable for problem. Problem happened on the freeway, had lack of power, move to the side of the road and stop, put car in park, tried reverse gear, and was not working, tried drive gear and it moves forward but with very little power. Took it to the mechanic and and after several inspection he told me i needed to change the transmission. |
