| Description of the problem | This morning when i drove my 2005 nissan quest van in my garage i immediately smelled something burning. I looked to the rear of the van and saw black smoke coming from around the taillight housing. I immediately backed the van out of the garage. Suddenly flames came from the bottom of the taillight housing. By the time i could grab a fire extinguisher a hole approx. 6" in diameter had burned through and melted part of the taillight housing and the rear bumper fascia. I will contact my dealer tomorrow morning to have a tow truck sent to my house to pick the van up and have it repaired. |
