Description of the problem	A "safety feature" of the van is a huge hazard to my children. My understanding is that when the electric door shuts, it is not supposed to close if someone (a child is in the way). I am a 6 foot 9, 270-pound man, and if i am in the way, the sliding door physically moves and crushes me against the frame before it opens back up. I have been told on three separate occasions that this is the way the door is designed and there is not a fix required for this problem. This seems to be an obvious design flaw and hard to understand since the trunk stops closing and bounces back up if you even tap it while it is closing. The toyota and honda vans bounce right back if touched while while trying to close. Nissan is marketing this car to be "mom friendly" however it is far from it if it places our children at risk of being crushed.
