| Description of the problem | Whenever we hit the brakes our 2004 nissan quest shutters and shakes. We first reported the problem at about 23,000 miles. Van has been to the dealer at least 5 times for this problem. Mechanic can never find anything wrong. On our own we have replaced the front rotors when it was discovered both original rotors had warped, replaced the brake pads three times, and turned the rotors 6 months after replacing them (79k miles). Van goes back into the dealer next week again to have the problem addressed again as it has gotten worse. I am stationed with the military away from home, and my wife uses the quest as her only transportation with our toddlers, older children, and guests. Van now has 114k miles. |
